Summary:

  • Installing fiberglass insulation in single family, multifamily, and commercial projects throughout the area.
  • Full-time position, hourly pay and per piece pay (Average Pay of: $10-$20/hour)
  • W2 Employee (Mon-Fri: 7-4:30+, Occasional Saturdays)
  • Truck and equipment provided by the company

Summary:

  • Full-time position, hourly training pay and then piece pay (Average Pay of: $15-$20+/hour)
  • Monday-Friday Saturdays, as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Work on ladders up to 40 ft and be stable
  • Provide outstanding service to our customers
  • Log, load, and unload materials
  • Complete safety checks
  • Cut metal, form gutters, use power tools

  • Observe job site safety rules and MSDS requirements
  • Wear PPE as required by the job assigned and the supervisor

Essential Physical Demands

  • Must be able to: use common hand tools; remain stable on ladders and high places; perform snips, this requires constant flexing, grasping, twisting, and lifting with both hands and arms constantly throughout the day

  • Must be able to lift ladders, coils (Approx. 75+ lbs)

Qualifications Required:

  • Hire, train, evaluate, discipline, coach, and terminate field superintendents, crew leads, and skilled labor; analyze and resolve worker problems.
  • Analyze and plan workflow; ensure proper staffing to complete jobs and meet builder needs.
  • Create and/or review daily schedules; assign work to employees using material and labor requirements.
  • Conduct safety meetings; ensure that operations conform to local, state, and federal safety laws and regulations.
  • Attend sales meetings and assist sales personnel with labor rate bidding of unique jobs, as required.
  • Serve as contact for construction projects to sales representatives, builders, other trades, inspectors, subcontractors, and employees.
  • Maintain appropriate communication and satisfactory customer relations; handle customer complaints and grievances.
  • Ensure staff compliance with OSHA, DOL, DOT rules and regulations, standard building codes, and company policies.
  • Manage labor; analyze job cost reports.
  • Oversee all inventory control procedures including daily in and out, monthly physical inventory, and inventory audits.
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications and quality standards are met; conduct pre-walk of job sites, as required.
  • Inspect equipment; maintain vehicle service records, and make recommendations to management on capital purchases.
  • Supervise yard cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of inventory items and equipment.
  • Read construction project plans to determine construction requirements.
  • Ability to utilize current technology to manage daily scheduling and productivity.

Job Requirements:

  • Loads and logs materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials.
  • Erects ladders and scaffolds.
  • Checks netting for areas that may need blocking, and prepares machine by checking oil, belts, and obstructions.
  • Operates equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighing up to 56 lbs.
  • Climbs ladders and crawls in attics frequently throughout the day.
  • Checks density in wall areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools, including tape measure, laser level, and drill.
  • Able to climb up and down a ladder.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to perform basic math skills and read a tape measure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work in tight and confined places like attics and crawlspaces.
  • Able to work independently and/or with a crew.
